Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) shares rose nearly 2% in early trade on Tuesday after the company announced a strategic alliance with global manufacturing solutions provider Jabil to establish a world-class AI and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India.

The stock attracted strong buying interest following the announcement, as investors welcomed the company's latest move to strengthen its presence in the rapidly growing artificial intelligence and data centre ecosystem. As of 10:00 AM, Adani Enterprises shares opened at ₹2,971.40 against the previous close of ₹2,942.50 and climbed to an intraday high of ₹2,997.00. The day's low stood at ₹2,957.10. The stock remains close to its 52-week high of ₹3,059.80, significantly above its 52-week low of ₹1,753.00.

The newly announced partnership brings together Jabil's global engineering and manufacturing expertise with Adani Group's infrastructure capabilities and green energy strengths. The collaboration aims to build a giga-scale AI rack architecture and deploy multi-gigawatt high-density AI rack manufacturing capacity in India to support the growing demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure worldwide.

The manufacturing platform is expected to serve global hyperscalers, co-location providers and enterprise data centres that are rapidly expanding their AI computing capabilities. The alliance will focus on developing advanced technologies, including liquid-cooled AI racks and sophisticated surface-mount technology (SMT) manufacturing processes, helping India emerge as a key player in the global AI hardware supply chain.

Beyond AI racks, the collaboration will create a comprehensive AI infrastructure ecosystem covering the production of Power Distribution Units, Coolant Distribution Units, transformers, switchgears and advanced thermal management systems. By offering an integrated solution, the partnership seeks to address the infrastructure requirements of data centre builders and technology companies across the globe.

The companies believe the opportunity is substantial, with the global AI infrastructure market expected to exceed USD 3 trillion over the next seven years. The initiative also aligns with India's growing importance in the digital economy, as demand for AI computing power, cloud services and data localisation continues to accelerate.

Industry estimates suggest that India's data centre market could expand to between 5 GW and 8 GW by 2030. The Adani-Jabil alliance supports Adani Group's broader vision of developing 5 GW of green-energy-powered, AI-ready data centre capacity by 2035, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable digital infrastructure.

Commenting on the development, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani highlighted the growing importance of energy and computing infrastructure in the AI era, stating that future competitiveness will depend on mastering the relationship between energy generation and compute capacity. Jabil CEO Mike Dastoor said the collaboration combines the strengths of both organisations and has the potential to create long-term value for customers across the AI ecosystem.
