Bondada Engineering shares surged more than 4% in intraday trade on Tuesday after the company announced a major order win from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for a large-scale renewable energy project in Uttar Pradesh.
The company has received a prestigious Notification of Award (NOA) from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for the development of a 250 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project integrated with a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
The total value of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract is approximately ₹1,338.03 crore, inclusive of GST, making it one of the significant renewable energy orders secured by Bondada Engineering.

The latest order significantly enhances Bondada Engineering’s position in India's rapidly growing renewable energy infrastructure sector. The contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, one of the country's leading public-sector renewable energy companies, reflects the company's strong execution capabilities and growing reputation in large-scale clean energy projects.
Following the award, Bondada Engineering's renewable energy order book has expanded substantially:
· Solar EPC Order Book: Approximately 5.5 GWp
· Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Order Book: Approximately 1.1 GWh
The strengthened order pipeline is expected to provide robust revenue visibility and support the company's long-term growth strategy in the renewable energy segment.
