New Delhi: Day 2 of SEMICON India 2026 witnessed 25 key announcements and collaborations spanning India’s semiconductor value chain, including semiconductor manufacturing, materials, logistics, chip design, advanced packaging, power electronics and workforce development.
Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said India’s semiconductor ecosystem is attracting strong global participation and growing investment interest. The minister also highlighted sustainability measures, including water recycling in semiconductor fabs and closed-loop cooling systems in data centres.
The event has received a strong response, with nearly 12,000 visitors on Day 1, most of them industry participants. SEMICON India 2026 features more than 600 exhibitors, including around 300 international exhibitors, highlighting growing global engagement with India’s semiconductor sector.
